Brian Kwarteng
My name is Brian J. Kwarteng. I’m a motivated student at Tufts University who hopes to go to medical school after completing my undergraduate degree. I am also interested in getting my Master of Public Health degree. I want to change the fact that less than 3% of doctors are black men as of right now. My goal is to create a primary prevention program and practice medicine in the US with the BIPOC population in mind. Clinical research that can reduce health inequities within communities interests me. The goal of my work is to help people overcome health obstacles caused by a variety of factors. My motivation for joining the MOTHER Lab is to make a difference in black maternal health complications.
