Farida N. YADA, MPH, is an international scholar from Burkina Faso (West Africa). She is currently in her final year of her Health Services Research Doctoral Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she also obtained her Master of Public Health. Her research interests include disparities in Maternal and Child Health outcomes and Global Health. More specifically, her research focuses on the reproductive health disparities experienced by Black/African American women, sub-Saharan African immigrant women living outside of Africa, and the reproductive health outcomes of sub-Saharan African women living in Africa.
